Just to share a funny behavour found in command window.

Try to type any characters in command window. It is not necessary VFP syntax or comment. You can try "ksdfhksdhfkjshdfsdf". Without press <ENTER>, close and run VFP again. What do you see? "ksdfhksdhfkjshdfsdf" still remained there.
