Yes the VFP team probably had a lot to do with this, but, you don't see Microsoft admitting it anywhere in that article. They don't mention any VFP team members at the end either!

Yes, MS never say to the team of VFP, nevertheless we all know that VS2008 has smell of fox, and I am going to say it in all my conferences, and believe that we all it must say level of the world, that VFP's product is born the famous LINQ, and great part of the optimization of SQLServer2005.

This is our pride, VFP will be in the core of VS2008.
