We're going on vacation
Marcia and I will be taking a break in June. We're going back to the UK to visit my Sister (Angela) and her family and my mother. Interestingly my (88 year old) mother just had a hip replacement! Bless her, but she is complaining that it's taking her too long to get fully mobile again. After all, it's been almost three weeks since she had the operation!! Talk about impatient - so you can see where I get my temperament from :)
Of course this is not all vacation, we are giving a one-day seminar for the UK Developer's User Group at the main Microsoft Campus near Reading on June 15th (details at the UK group website here: http://www.devug.com/Seminar050615.pdf )
On 17th June we are going over to Prague and we will be speaking at what is now the biggest VFP conference in the world (between 21 and 23 June they expect to have well over 400 people).
The reason for going so early is that we are going to meet my brother (Rick) and his wife there for a long weekend. We are a scattered family and my brother (who is an Accountant) is currently living and working in Amsterdam. It's been almost two years since we were in the same place at the same time so I'm quite looking forward to seeing them again.
So if things are quiet around here for the month of June you'll know why - it's not that I am giving up :)
